Honeymoon Packing List - Packing Checklist
Packing can be a tedious process but needs careful consideration. Here are some packing tips to help make the process easy and efficient. Before you begin to pack, have an idea of what you will be doing while on vacation. Will you be hiking, therefore needing hiking shoes, a backpack and a large water bottle? Lying on the beach? Playing golf? Many different sports have their own equipment that you may need to bring with you, unless your hotel offers the ideas for free or a small charge.
Next, find the appropriate size suitcase for your length of stay and make sure it is sturdy and in good condition. Consider outfit choices that could mix-and-match. You may only need one jacket or sweater the whole stay, so pick one that will go with all of your outfits (i.e. black or white). Stick with versatile bottoms and you can splurge on those many colored tank tops that don’t require a lot of space.
Compile all clothes and supplies before beginning to cram them into the bag. Put the larger and heavier items in first. Make sure all liquid items are zip-locked, preferably double layered. Try rolling clothes to make more room. Finish with the smaller items that can fill in the holes. Don’t forget to leave room for souvenirs!! Leave expensive or precious valuables at home.
