08/17/2007   Going to Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to spend your honeymoon. The hotel we stayed at was wonderful and romantic. They offered a boat ride between the hotel and downtown Disney(free of charge). It's a nice change of pace especially if you want a more grown up atmosphere. Also, in the evenings our hotel for a fee offered carriage rides. There's nothing more romantic than seeing a horse drawn carriage going down the road in the early evening hours. Our honeymoon was well worth the price and we can't wait for our anniversary.

07/19/2006   If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay Port Orleans was great! We had a beautful suite facing the water with a good old*fashtioned couthern charm! Although it is a family-friendly hotel, it's not one of the most known... Therefore making it quaint, and quiet. We rarely heard anyone! The hotel itseld looks like a southern plantaition house, and is set back in a woodsy setting. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and very spacious! We ate at the Riverside Mill... One of the various restaurants... And it was delicous! There are shuttle services to the parks that come every 20 minutes.... And it was frequent & promt. Activities at the hotel included: boat rentals (Canopy boats, Paddle boats, and Kayaks), Bicycles rentals (by the half hour or by the day), Surrey bike rentals(2 or 4 seater by the ½ hour, Fishing, Jogging and walking trail, and several pools! This hotel is also not far from the ever-popular Downtown Disney!
