Honeymoon Reviews

Best Vacation Ever.

09/29/2009   We went in May which happen to be low season so prices were a little lower. It was raining when we arrived and that did little to detract from the beauty of the resort. Sitting on our private patio or at the bar and looking out, you know you are in paradise. Our room was on the beach and being that it was one of 5-6 beaches at Caneel Bay and not crowded, we never saw more than 6 people on the 200 yard long beach in front of us. The staff is outstanding and they have all worked there for years, several we met had been there for 20+. So its obvious they treat them well and intern we are treated like Kings. Plenty of activities, some of the best ones are free (sailing and snorkeling). Take an island hooping day trip to see some other beautiful places including a trip to the Soggy Dollar bar on a BVI. Its the only place my wife and I have truly been sad to leave. The staff waves at you from the dock as your boat departs. If you want a relaxing and beautiful place to stay, go to St John's and stay at Caneel Bay. If you want night life and a busy atmosphere, go to St Thomas. You can also take the ferry if you want just a day of partying on st Thomas and you will want to come back to paradise at Caneel Bay and never leave.

Caneel Bay had the best snorkeling ever and Anguilla was romantically deserted

07/30/2006   Malihoulanna gave us a beautiful provate dinner on a bluff overlooking the ocean and on Caneel Bay we fell asleep to the sound of waves, thanks to a wonderful upgrade from our travel agent!
