07/15/2006   This location is in Beautiful Lauderdale by the sea on the North east edge of Fort Lauderdale Fl. The Blue seas courtyard is a quaint little family owned resort, decorated with a mexican theme. Available are Hotel rooms, Efficiency Apts., or 1 Bedroom Apt. The Pool and grounds are clean and very well maintained. This is not a 4 or 5 star Hotel. We had an Efficiency for 8 days at a cost of $84.00 per night. Ocean and Beach are right across the street. This area is an Old Florida community and is my favoriate place in the world!! Beach restuarants and shoping are within walking distance. Also while there we ate at the Mai-Kai polynesean Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. This is expensive around $200.00 for a couple. This includes a show and our food and drinks, Loved this!! There are also available in this area 1 day cruises from port everglades. We went on the Sea Escape 5 hour cruise including Brunch, Pool, casino and show for around $32.00 per person. We also went on a riverboat dinner cruise on the Jungle Queen. This area offers many fun things to do at a reasonable cost. We had a wonderful time for 8 days and only spent about $2500.00
