Real Honeymoon Stories ~ Total Disasters
Ant Invasion Nightmare
Sandals Grande Ocho Rios
We were told that they would have the same room available tomorrow, so we could move there in the morning.  The next morning we moved into our new room, only to be greeted with someone working on the plumbing…this concerns me. The repairs were done relatively quickly and we were relieved to be in a new room. We went out that day and had a nice time; we went back to the room and were not so pleasantly surprised to see huge red ants all over our bathroom. Not good. I called the front desk; it again took them over an hour to get someone to our room, only to spray it with Raid. It took care of the bugs for a few hours, only a few hours. This continued every night and morning; they came and sprayed with Raid. The icing in the cake was that they didn’t even clean up the dead bugs, they just left them lying on the floor, it was really pleasant to have to wear shoes in our room. By the third day of this it was pretty obvious to us that there must have been a nest in the room somewhere. Not them, clearly a disgusting bug infestation is acceptable. This continued the remainder of our vacation. Honeymooners from Woodhaven, Michigan.
